Drew grew up in Princeton, New Jersey and graduated from Brown University. She began her career in the arts working in off-Broadway theatre in New York City and as a classically trained singer.

Drew has worked as an Assistant Director on 6 academy award-winning films: LA CONFIDENTIAL, PHILADELPHIA, MISERY, REVERSAL OF FORTUNE, RUNNING ON EMPTY and TREVOR. Other credits include: ALONG CAME POLLY, GHOSTBUSTERS II, KING OF NEW YORK, FRIENDS WITH MONEY and THE BAD LIEUTENANT, as well as 7 features for HBO. Drew has also worked extensively in episodic television as a First AD. She has garnered two DGA award nominations and one win.

Drew’s first feature, "SEX AND A GIRL", starring Genevieve Bujold, Alison Lohman, Robert Hays, Ellen Greene, Danny Masterson, Soleil Moon Frye and Angela Gotts, aired on Showtime and Lifetime Networks in the US and has been released theatrically in Europe and Asia.

"FOLLOW THE PROPHET", starring Annie Burgstede, Robert Chimento, David Conrad, Diane Venora, Tom Noonan and John Diehl had a US theatrical release and is now available on demand.

Drew was one of a handful of directors who shot 65 one-hour episodes for Fox's telenovella series, SAINTS & SINNERS, starring Maria Conchita Alonso, Robin Givens, Mel Harris, Charles Shaunnessy, Natalie Martinez and Scott Bailey.

Drew wrote and directed the short film, DAYBREAK, which received an LA Emmy.

Work as a second unit director includes such films as “THE RETURNED”, "STARKID" and "NOW AND THEN", produced by Demi Moore.

Drew is currently in development on "THE LUNATIC FRINGE", written by Barry Morrow, academy-award-winning writer of RAINMAN, producing along with Arthur Sarkissian and John Bennett and GOODNIGHT MARILYN, produced by Nina Boski, Bonnie Burgess and Don O'Melveny. Her newest project is the feature film, GOAL FOR IT, which tells the story of two teenage girl soccer players from vastly different backgrounds.
